2. I've had this happen to me on a regular account.
I had some problems with a gas pump and ran my BOA card several times. They suspended it until I called customer service.

On the other hand this could be a phishing scam, particularly if you are required to give information by e-mail. Call BOA and check it out.

3. It IS a phishing scam
I'm not a military member and I don't have an account with the military branch of B of A.
