8. In 2000 he put Spencer Abrams as Sec'y of Energy and Ashcroft as
Attorney General. I kept waiting for something for Slade Gordan (Washington) but I guess he made more money as a lobbyist.

That's when I realized that for Republicans, being defeated means you're not out of a job.
