Is 2007 an election year?
A friend of mine e-mailed me, about his employer. They're unionized and he was talking about it'd make more sense of the healthcare contract ends the same year as the wage contract.

He goes on to say "(2007 because it'll be a change of power) e.g. democrates to republicans."

Exact spelling.

Are Republicans coming back in 2007?

And what's a "democrate"?

And if he can't spell or capitalize political parties, what's he doing in a high paying job?

1. If I was you, I'd just SHOOT the little weasel, and feel SMUG about it.
But, thankfully, I am not you.

9. I joined "most people" when you cheered the murder of a 14yo for throwing eggs.
Yesterday, wasn't it?

10. Sorry, such punk deserves no less.

Maybe I was out of line.

Maybe the SUV driver was too.

Having the little sod rot in jail for 20 years would be preferable, though I wouldn't want to know how much taxmoney is being spent to keep the creep alive.

But I sure as hell wouldn't shed one damn tear for anybody who wilfully does an action whose only outcome is the harm or death of innocent people. You don't cause distractions that can kill. Just like the high school-aged fucker who plays chicken with drivers on the freeway because it's "fun". No damn way.

Vigilante justice isn't right, but if the instigator wasn't such a Lyddie*...

BTW: One such punk played 'chicken' with drivers on a freeway once. And I regret not calling 911 to report the little fucker, who I hope did die in a crash. You don't shit around with people like that and that is one of the few points I am adamant about.

I swear, more people had more vitriol against Lyddie England than this 14 year old animal.

BTW: The friend was e-mailing about politics. Not threatening others lives. Or can you understand the difference? If you have a gripe about me, don't bullshit me like this. But if you want to defend a freeper, feel free to do so. On either issue.

14. Coming from YOU, that means SOOOOO much!
If I owned all the HTML in the world, it still would not
suffice to construct a "ROFL" smiley suficiently
large enough to convey a proper response to that post.

5. 2007 is an off-year election
Edited on Mon Dec-04-06 05:37 PM by Ignacio Upton
There are governor's races in KY, LA, and MS. There are also mayoral races in Philly and SF. However, the political coverage in the MSM will be about 2008, as the candidates will probably be having one debate after another by then.

7. NY just had its governors race, I think you meant KY
I think the Dems are in good shape to pick up Kentucky and it will be interesting to see if they can hold in Louisiana. Haley Babar was headed for defeat pre-Katrina but unfortunately he's just about the only Republican that's gotten more popular in the past 2 years.

8. At this point we would gain KY but lose LA
Barbour will win re-election unless something comes up (I think people in MS already know of his Klan-supporting...but in a state like MS I'm not sure if that would actually hurt him with, sadly.)
