Bill Clinton for UN Ambassador!
Sorry if this has already been suggested, but what American has more credibility on the world stage?

it will give him somebody to make things better and fulfill his goal of appointing somebody who he is close to.

10. A great idea. There should be this type of appointment for him
and something similar for Jimmy Carter. These are true humanitarians.

11. While I agree he would be a great choice...
The blivet would never nominate him unless forced to. Big Dog as UN Ambassador would so UPSTAGE the blivet and other nations would be going to Clinton for every little thing. It would undermine the blivet and you know it will not stand for that.

14. I know, I know...
but one can always dream.

Appointing Clinton would be a brilliant choice--so that rules out the * administration making such a selection.

It would be in keeping with their history of appointments to the courts, cabinet, and federal administrations

23. What would be the advantage, for Clinton, to defend the Bush administration
foreign policy and to be basically under the orders of Condoleeza Rice?

I understand the idea he could have been interested by becoming the UN General Secretary, but US Ambassador to the UN, I am not sure I understand why he would do that?

few American politicos achieve. I think it would be a great appointment.
