Chavez bought election - gave money to Carter Center to certify
This is the crap I heard from a wing-nut Savage fan today.

I know it's wrong, but I need to prove it. I've googled all combinations of "Carter, Chavez, Venezuela, money, funded, donate" and I get NOTHING.

Where the hell did this bull come from?

4. Please... anybody that believes this bullshit deserves whatever
they get. Too ridiculous to even bother with... the reason why you get nothing from the Google, is because it's a LIE.

5. Don't know anything about that, but..
this article in the NYT says The Economy boosted Chavez' popularity..

snip~

"Venezuela’s Economic Boom Buoys Chávez"

" CARACAS, Venezuela, Dec. 2 — To understand why Hugo Chávez seems set for victory in Sunday’s presidential election and a strengthened mandate for what he calls a socialist revolution, consider the vigor here of that most capitalist of institutions: the stock exchange."

7. Don't waste your time trying to find any "evidence" that
flying monkeys and lizard people are really NOT crossing the border at night intending to steal our underwear, even if some Reich Wing operative says it is so.

11. What bullshit...Chavez wins 62% to 38% and these right-wing clowns
Edited on Tue Dec-05-06 12:48 AM by GreenTea
in the US want to say it was stolen...look in the mirror, as they've stolen election after election keeping it as close as possible, to hide their stealing, that's how they steal elections...

Unlike Bush's 52% to 48% loss with the popular vote in 2000 and his bullshit 51% to 49% "win" in 2004 - while stealing the swing state of Ohio...which Bush announced as a mandate...NO, Chavez won a true mandate from the people of Venezuela with 62%!

It was a landslide for Chavez....with good reason, while the right will NEVER admit to the facts...Just the same old lies & spin.
