2. I've been out of the loop the last few days. What happened?
I thought they filed for bankruptcy and that had them covered for a while?

7. I don't think so....but you are right we do need to support AAR Premium.

Most and liberals included, don't seem to understand the true importance of needed support.

We can & will make a BIG difference in keeping our voice alive!

Hopefully it's not too late!

How sad would that be... Pigman Limbaugh would jump for joy, and say "I told you so, liberal radio just can't make it".

More important we'd lose a true national voice that has helped us out so much...

Air America Radio we need you!

15. AAR is a joke compared to what a serious news-media could do
with adequate resources to engage in some hardcore investigative journalism. We'd be exposing corruption/incompetence left and right. It'd change this country I tell ya.

But no, we get faux news and a house broken corporate media. No wonder our democracy is in shambles.

9. Friday Could Be The End...
I can't say where I heard this tidbit, but it came from a very reliable source. Supposedly AAR was to have presented their restructuring and a new financial backer to the bankruptcy judge several weeks ago and have asked for several extensions...saying they had something in place but needed the extra days to make it solid. The clock now has all but run out. Unless there's some surprise announcement in the next couple days, the plug could be pulled as soon as Friday...or shortly thereafter.

10. I will cry, it was a great three year run....

Is it really over?

All we'll have left is syndication, Internet, Satellite, Jones, Nova M & misc.!

The right-wing media will proceed to eat us alive, only left with our seemingly untouchable internet and some voices on radio, which we still must support...

I hope your wrong.

But, with no national network...How does it feel....If AAR does comes back we need to support them.

Buy Premium! (For Eleven bucks a month).

11. Jones & NovaM will fill some of the bill...local will fill others
AAR fought a lot of odds...many not of their own making, including a depressed advertising market that is slowly bankrupting many large radio companies. But there's many options available and hopefully will create new opportunities and voices.

12. Hmm...
Their iTunes streaming is down as well. Also, Nova M seemed to play extra commercials, or music instead of Air America's newsbreak during Malloy.

If they do indeed go, I know at least Randi will survive on another network, and possibly Sam and Rachel as well.

fired the great Malloy...

Still, if AAR does indeed surface...(which in all probability they will) They'll need our support.
