Say it was 30 years ago...

Okay, we're all excited because Carter won. Way to go, Jimmy! The culture of corruption is done!

BUT ... say someone from the future walks up to you and tells you that in the future, these three guys would be President:

1) A guy who sold weapons to terrorists.
2) A guy who cheated on his wife and lied about it.
3) A guy who got us into an unprovoked war wholly for political purposes.

And then you find out that the ONLY one of these three who are impeached is the one who cheated on his wife and lied about it. Neither of the other two would come even close.

What would your reaction be?

1. If someone had told me 30 years ago that

not only was the guy who had an affair the only one impeached, but he was also the Attorney-General-elect of my state who had just narrowly lost a Congressional election in my district two years earlier, I would have said he/she was crazy!
