do you believe we'll see an outbreak of rightwing violence. The nuts are already dropping hints on C-SPAN and elsewhere that they've got their guns ready if they can't win elections. Whether it is just blathering from stupid hate filled blowhards, or a true threat, is hard to know. What do y'all think?

Of course, when I ask this question I don't mean all of the idiots, but a significant number of them. I'll let you decide what "significant" means. For me it would be some type of organized movement, not just one or two isolated wackos.

But i must back up and wonder, why they are preparing the public to be imprisoned,
and what sort of distopia has created their own society modelled on a prison,
eyeballed and groped at every checkpoint by the guards,
those who come a meddlin' are the dangerous ones, and too often, the
drugs warriors, the anti-gun, the anti-women's-private-medical-business
assholes, and this meddlesome mix of imposers, of both party flavours,
is the enemy, the evil at the root of our civilization,
and i understand why people dislike them,
they have the time of day to get on others, authority and barbarity consciousness,
and no tickbox R or D makes a soul.

5. I suspect there might be an initial outbreak, at least of threats, after the 2008 elections.

But once a few get hard jail time the rest will settle down, and fade into the fringes of society, where they belong.

6. There will be sporadic violence by a few hot heads, but

nothing coordinated. Hell, there are isolated incidents of nutzoids planning violence now--don't forget OK city, the Winter Olympics and all the women's clinics that were bombed.

They're out there and when things go seriously against their world view, those on the edge will tip over.
