know what Gates answered to the question Graham asked him about a specific time for withdrawal - if it would hurt the region - or something like that. I was so surprised that they interrupted, that now I've forgotten exactly how the question was worded.


I am REALLY aggravated that C-Span stopped their coverage.

If anybody knows what his answer to that specific question was, I will appreciate it.

people who have died. I'm sure they may have been good people, but why tie up the session reading all this stuff?

2. Cspan, by contract, had to stop coverage of the hearing when the

House and Senate resumed sessions. I believe they said this Amthe hearing coverage will continue on Cspan3 and Cspan radio. I think, even on dial up, you can listen to Cspan radio.

4. I don't get c-span 3 on tv. I'll try to get the radio on dial-up. But they will not be going back

to that PARTICULAR question. It is what Bush has harped on, and I wanted to see what Gates had to say about it.

Do you know if there will be a transcript on it?

5. I don't know for sure, but keep checking cspan.

Not only do they put transcripts up on their web site of some hearings, but they rerun a lot of these things at night. I would suspect you might find they rerun the whole hearing on either Cspan 1 or 2 tonight sometime.
