Are there any issues that Democrats say either / or

Republicans are fond of saying either jobs or the environment, either Nationalized Health Care with no choice of doctor or the current system, either with us or against us...etc you get the picture. Virtually every single thing they say either or on we can do both. We can have both jobs and a clean environment, we can have a Nationalized Health Care and exactly what we have today which is who pays the most gets the most and we can be against the Iraq occupation without being against America. Is there any issue what so ever that Democrats claim has to be either / or? Maybe either you follow the Constitution or you don't.. That sounds good...

There's nothing that all Democrats will say either / or too - but you will see them complaining about the cost of the military while saying that if we made cut backs we could do a lot with that money.

I'm not saying they are wrong, just saying that the thinking does crop up occasionally.
