for a special White House edition.
You'd never know by Laura Bush that our country has some of the best clothing designers in the world.
I know it's shallow to criticize our First Ladies for their clothing. But it is a chance for American design to get recognition. It just seems a shame that with so much talent here, our First Lady dresses so poorly.
She has the means to hire professional help. And she does have the advantage of having a well-proportioned figure. Yet her clothes are badly designed, not flattering to her, and appear to be poorly constructed.
It's a mystery.

Condi does dress very nicely, though. I have numerous issues with Condi (whoever would have thought of planes flying into buildings?) but the way she dresses is not one of them.
She represents America well in her style.
