White House Christmas 2006
HGTV is stepping inside the White House, filled with dozens of decorators, volunteers and staffers, to find out just what it takes to decorate the home of the president and the first lady for the holidays.

I've looked into it and seen that, yet again, Laura has dissed the artists and craftspeople of this country by leaving us out of it again. She has decided that the decorations should be done by stylists and florists, important people, true, but not be made by the American people.

I had an ornament on the White House Christmas tree in '98, in the midst of the impeachment crap, and at least Hilary made sure that the decorations represented America. Most gorgeous tree skirt I've ever seen with a quilted piece from every state and territory.

Laura can decorate the residence how she wants, she can decorate the ranch how she wants, but when it comes to the official White House decorations, she should be more concerned about making it represent the nation instead of some theme.

Yes, I'm growly about it. :mad:
