Hopeful that our form of government isn't irretrievably lost. Hopeful that the dollar continues as the world's reserve currency--and hence doesn't collapse bringing about a depression (not just a recession). Hopeful that we don't lose our jobs (along with the 35,000 Ford employees and thousands upon thousands of others). Hopeful that we can afford to pay for our healthcare needs. Hopeful on so many fronts... Yes, a truly hopeful society.
