Do not miss Colbert Report tonight
He just covered Racism in "the word"
also covered the Senate Investigation's most important question to the New Secretary of Defense and why they wimped out.

Sir, Have you ever been,
or have known

Donald Rumsfeld?

7. It is a great book for novices in the language of Economics
good show, it will be quoted,
I loved how Stephen quoted that criminal on his math and real math.

3. I loved how he said computers put Ohio and Florida in the championship
In the same way that Ohio and Florida put Bush in the White House.

14. That was great!
A little plug for how much electronic voting has done for us. Stephen Colbert is brilliant - he got electronic voting, Rove (in the interview - "Karl Rove's math"), and that hilarious Rumsfeld bit - or bits. The astronaut suit picture cracked me up, too. And then, of course, Scarborough - you really can't miss a second of his show he's so quick.

11. He's had a 3 part segment on about his saving
A small town in Colbert County, Georgia, by sending his building manager to open up a Stephen Colbert museum there (the town just so happens to have a Helen Keller museum - the building manager "stole" their famous water pump to display in Stephen's museum).

The end of the segment is that after much fanfare including parades and ribbon cutting, no one came to the Colbert museum after the first day, and Stephen's building manager, unable to understand it, followed the sounds of a cheering crowd to find that they were all lined up outside the Joe Scarborough Museum (Scarboreum).

12. Actually, it was better than that -
It was: "This show is the number one source of clips of Stephen Colbert, other than Scarborough Country." At least, that's what I heard. And he's right. That dude is obsessed. I wonder if he drives by Colbert's house at night.

13. Hey, guess who lives in Temecula, Ca?
Edited on Wed Dec-06-06 02:33 AM by Maat
(Actually, on the Temecula/Murrieta border in Murrieta, and who is in Temecula every day of her life - my work and my daughter's school are in Temecula.)

Yeah, it Ol' Maat, the 48-year-old, OLD DUer (ol' married grouch and proud mom of Beloved Daughter). That's right ....

Msongs and Pushed-to-the-Left don't live far from me.

We are about 1-1/2 hours north of downtown San Diego - inland on the 15 Fwy. We are known as SoCal's "wine country," and we have a great balloon and wine festival every year. Our friends on the Rez have a GREAT casino and resort. Google "Mark Macarro." He's the tribal leader, and you can enlighten yourself re the whole nine yards of 'scandal.'

And ... we have many friends who belong to the Pechanga Band of the Luisena Mission Indians (that's how they phrase it on their seal). We have parties in their VERY nice community building on the Rez.

And .. what Stephen was alluding to ... well, let's just say there's a soap opera going on there.

I hope they know he was so totally joking ... I'll have to ask 'em.
