Oh really?!? It sounds as if free expression of one's first amendment rights is the line that one mustn't step over as a member of an oppressed minority. This is definitely a "get to the back of the bus" mentality -- "Y'all just go ahead and take a seat back there, just don't make waves and keep in your place!" It's just another link in the chain of hypocrisy. "Artificially manufacturing" a child is great for some, but not for others.

I hope that for the child's sake, Mary Cheney and Heather Roe have already completed the paperwork to grant some level of guardianship or visitation rights to Roe. The blessing of a baby can easily turn into a legal nightmare for a same-sex couple.
