1. Why would Democrats agree to a pull-out in early 2008

just in time for the elections. This is letting the Republicans off the hook big-time. I guess there is no alternative. Why would any self-respecting Democrat serve with Baker on a commission of any sort, especially if the commission had to do with Iraq? Baker should be shunned, chastised, made to pay for saddling us with this ignoramus. Baker had to know how stupid and incompetent W. was. Why isn't he being asked to explain why he supported Bush? Baker owes the whole world a huge apology for having enabled Bush to become president. Baker, in my book, is a Benedict Arnold.
