Inhofe Slams Scientists Who Tout Global Warming, Says They Are Only In It For The Money

<snip>

Inhofe believes that whatever warming is occurring is coming from natural changes, rather than man-made emissions. He told Fox News Channel two weeks that the proof of this is, among other things, that "God's still up there" and warming is "due to the sun."

He told Gambling that scientists who believe in global warming are only in it for the money -- that they would not get grants by declaring that the warming is a natural occurrence and nothing to worry about.

It's an amazing claim. Essentially, in Inhofe's mind, every scientist is corrupt and lying, only interested in playing to the fears of a fringe liberal media and their Hollywood friends. To be blunt, it's delusional.

Not a fatal one, God. Just a little clot to his speech center so he'll SHUT THE FUCK UP.

So...how do the scientists make money off
global warming? Are they going to make a machine that sucks all the CO2 out of the atmosphere?
Frankly, Inhofe sounds a LOT like Jerry Falwell - total idiot!
Even if God is still up there, the CO2 is all down here on earth - geesh!

24. So, he IS an idiot. Yeah, like we're going to stop
having climate or weather. I am so glad Democrats get the chairmanships, so we can hear the truth again, instead of faith-based weather and climate news. Thanks for answering me.

6. So the sun's been about the same temperature for millenia
and it just now happens to magically get hotter at the exact same time that huge amounts of CO2 are being put into the atmosphere? I guess it's plausable for some idiot who thinks that the same God who allows the Holocaust wouldn't allow us to screw up the environment...

12. Solar researchers say "no change" in sun's output
There is a slight increase in surface solar activity causing staorms, increased solar winds, etc.

But solar winds have zero effect on climate.

16. Actually, that's not true entirely...
Keep in mind that our sun is a variable star and when the last ice age ended it was partially due to the fact the sun became hotter-- sunspot maxima. So there are natural fluxuations in energy output, and right now we are in a "hot" period. But that's a minor point because the real issue with global warming is indeed our output of fossil fuels.

What most of these assholes overlook is that when you fuck with the natural mechanics of global temperature regulation, you fuck up the ability to maintain a sort of homostasis; CO2 is creating a runaway green house effect that is directly causing many of the ills associated with global warming. That's just how it works.

The only hope for them is to shout louder than they do. I'm down for that, if that's what it takes.

We all know that scientists are out for nothing but fame and fortune! ;)
Its ironic because the easiest way to make lots of money as an environmental scientist is to work for the polluting industries. The people who claim Global Warming isn't a problem are the ones getting rich.
