Did Americans vote for a "Way Forward" in Iraq?
Edited on Wed Dec-06-06 01:37 PM by bigtree

Americans voted for an exit from Iraq, not a "way forward."

The Iraq policy is not going to change unless we do.

6. Bush's response to the ISG recs is stay the course
Snow claimed today that they've been carrying out the recs all along. They will use the recs they want and discard the rest.

Our task is to chart a directly opposite course. Not forward . . . a new course.

4. i just called Pelosi's office and Biden's office and said just this..
the American people came out in record numbers last month to vote for an exit from Iraq..not a "way forward"..

i said msnbc has a banner on their Web page saying 10 of our soldiers were killed today by IED's and the American people do no0t need Sandra Day O'Conner telling the media they have to make nice about this war to the American people and convince the American people ..that we need to support this bullshit...

the American people spoke on Nov 7th..get us out of Iraq...no more bullshit is what i said to both Pelosi and Biden..and i have just beggun my calls!!

please people get on the phone and start calling the dems..of course you will be told what i was just told..this is not a dem report..

i said i know..now i expect the dems to come out and say..this is not good enough..

we want our kids home..tommorrow is not soon enough!]

its what the American people said in NOv..get our kids home now!!

5. I voted for a way out. Not a new direction, not a way to move
forward, not a new approach, not a way to win.

BTW, I am about as sick of that phrase 'a way forward' or 'moving forward' as one person can get sick of a phrase. Note to pundits and cable 'news': stop using that phrase. It's irritating. I feel like I am being manipulated, or pushed from behind. Speak English or whatever. Use your brain, not your talking points.
