I just came across this Voltaire quotation that nicely sums up a lot that's happening today. |

So how did Voltaire anticipate George W Bush so perfectly? Well, the answer is, he didn't really. It's just that we've had people like Spurious George throughout human history. A lot of them seem to have come to a bad end, too.
