Any Realistic Solution To The Iraq Mess Begins With Bushco's Immediate Resignation
And by that I mean bush, cheney and the rest of the cabal. Gone. Immediately. Replaced by Pelosi and
a cabinet chosen by her.

While this scenario will never happen, it is the only real solution, a solution that sends a message to the world
the the USA is serious about fixing the disasters that bushco has led us into. That we totally and emphatically
repudiate the lawless activities of the cowards in this administration who have killed hundreds of thousands
in the pursuit of personal fortune.

But the USA doesn't have the guts for a real solution. We're like a restaurant that has lousy cooks and a lousy menu, and
fires the bus boys when business falls off. We're like the baseball team that trades away its best players while keeping
the crappy manager who doesn't know a thing about the game.

Tell me the truth. You know I'm right, don't you? A real solution STARTS with the exit of bushco, not with handing them a
BULLSHIT ISG report that will allow them to drag their feet for the next two years as human beings are slaughtered like
barnyard animals.

1. Any realistic person knows this won't happen.
Dumbya doesn't have half as much class as Nixon did. (Jesus, I can't believe I just wrote that!) Bush will never have the grace to resign. He'll cling to power till the bitter end--and I worry, too, that he and his evil cabal will come up with some bullshit "emergency" that will "require" martial law so that he can hold onto power beyond January 2009. I know that sounds nuts, but I put nothing past these people.

But here's the part I don't get about your post: "But the USA doesn't have the guts for a real solution."

What do YOU have the guts to do? It's easy telling everyone else they're cowards, but have YOU taken to the streets? What do you seriously expect people to do? We keep hearing this vague crapola about how it's everyone else's fault that Bush is still in power. OK, if it's everyone else's fault, be specific and give them their assignment. And, by the way, it'd help if you participated in this mystery mission.

The American people voted in record numbers to repudiate what Bu$hCo is doing in Iraq. You want immediate results, when the new Congress hasn't even convened yet! The law doesn't work like, "Congress has to impeach RIGHT NOW or we'll throw a tantrum!"

That mentality sounds a lot like that of Dim Son himself.

Investigations need to take place before impeachment can even begin. Even if impeachment takes place, that might not be enough to remove Bush from office. (Remember how Clinton was still president after the Republican jackals went after him?)

And there's sure as hell no way both the President AND Vice-President will be removed from office. Even Nixon's veep survived to become President (though he wasn't re-elected). Somehow, I don't think things would be any better with Snarling Dick Cheney at the helm, than they are with the Chimperor. They're all tentacles of the same evil monster. As much as we'd all love to see it, "President Pelosi" is not likely to be sworn in anytime soon.

Let's drop the histrionics and face facts: Barring a miracle, we're stuck with Bush until 2009 (let's send our thanks for that to the traitor James Carville). The new Congress will at least slow down the damage Bush is doing to our country and our world. Let the investigations begin, and when the evidence is there, THEN let the cries for impeachment ring out far and wide. But right here and now, we can only wait until the new Congress convenes, see what happens, and respond accordingly by contacting our representatives.

Working within the system is the only way to get anything done.

4. If the leadership got serious about impeachment, Bush 'n Cheney could resign by President's Day

We just need a legitimate President, and that is not necessarily President Pelosi.

3. Agreed..Bush & Cheney are a constant POISONOUS ...
Edited on Thu Dec-07-06 03:40 AM by Blaze Diem
reminder of this horrific tragedy lain upon the shoulders of the world.
They took power of the U.S Presidency to achieve their personal greed filled goals.
Just another day in the life of an oil broker..business for them would be billions of $$$ better with the proper power in their hands.
With that position of power firmly in place, the world of oil-brokering was at their disposal.
From the oil patch to the top of the world.

What cost to humanity and the centuries its generations will endure.
Not a thought by the oil-men in power..this after all, was their means to an end that padded bank accounts and brokered oil deals in secret.

Al Gore is correct.
Because in the life of Bush, Cheney and the oil barons that were assured Government's highest positions of power to secure their oil bidding in exchange for George Bush's position as U.S. President, it truely was always about George and those who have always surrounded him and his father in the oil business. Their first and truest love. OIL.

It was a successful coup against the American government. No matter what the consequences nor the cost, wether it brings impeachment or censurship, George Bush managed to redraw the boundaries of Middle East oil fields and handed the barons within his circle the possibility of securing contracts and oil field rights.
Rights that could never have been theirs without the incredible power of the United States at their disposal. Military, bottomless funding, and protection was at their disposal.

The damage and clean-up of their coup is of no concern to any of them. It never was.
Their mission has indeed been accomplished.

If you haven't read the timeline pointing to my above rant, the following link should explain it clearly. Take the time to read it. Its like a kick in the gut.
I cannot fathom how one would react if they'd bought the sham and rode the Bush bandwagon all this time.
The magnitude of what has been done by Bush and his oilmen is unmeasurable.
Makes you want to weep for our world.

Thanks
Blaze

****************I will have to provide the link tomorrow A.M. as I am not at my home computer..it is saved on my "favorites" listing..I will provide it and if you haven't read it, you MUST..thanks do check back tomorrow..my apologies
