Are there any laws about mailing sand? |
|
...you know like the kind found around old dead tanks over in Iraq. What if the citizens of Iraq started doing just that, mailed these samples off to...oh I don't know..maybe the arms manufacturers who created depleted uranium munitions, the politicians who were bought out by those same arms manufacturers and what the hell let's add faux news on that list. Do you suppose they might be justified in returning the favor? It's "only" sand ya know. Just wonderin.... :eyes:

Like that I get from the Mississippi river bank, no. Much as justice might be served by what you suggest, the contamination needs to be contained. The War Profiteers are about to get a fat slab of justice from the new new blue congress.

I am just a bit concerned that the depleted uranium issue is NOT gettin the coverage it deserves. I would very much like to see it headlining the msm until everyone is aware of it AND it gets cleaned up...being a realist I do not see that happening...hence my suggestion. Maybe at first "clean" sand would do but I am not against the "unclean" variety if that doesn't grab folks's attention.

5. your altruism is commendable |

but I suspect any postal mail will likely will be stolen in transit as there are very few if any honest people working for the US-backed government in Iraq.
