We need a bush press conference NOW.
He's been avoiding the press, and avoiding the nation for a month now, ever since the election. I want to see the ape answer a few reporter's questions for about an hour at this auspicious time in his tenure. I want to see him splain a few things to me.

Why won't he have a press conference? Is it perhaps because he's afraid? Ashamed? Humiliated? Is it because the jig is up? This is the time to have a press conference and watch him try to answer some VERY UNCOMFORTABLE questions, now that the smirk has taken on an air of desperation and fear.

I want to see Helen and David Gregory open up on his ass, I want to see him sweat and squirm and blather and suffer.

Come on out george, give us a press conference. or are you just going to hide out in plain sight for the next two passes around the sun?

5. No. What we need is an Oval Office prime-time address to the nation.
Something that starts with "My fellow Americans".

And ends with "Therefore I will resign the Presidency effective noon tomorrow".

6. I feel the need to spend more time with my family
and clear brush on the ranch in my white hat and sweaty blue jeans, I will clear brush and talk to the cows and gila monsters and reminise about the good ol' days when I ruled the world.

I'm beginning to allow myself to actually think that it could actually happen.

10. This would not be our first double resignation.
Spiro Agnew fell before Nixon, but they'd have both faced jail if we hadn't been such a naive nation.

If they went to the trouble to remove dubya, or ask for his resignation, it's a given that big dick would be included in the package deal. We simply would not go for an official president dick. Even though big dick has actually been the real president all along.

11. Rather than a double resignation, how about
Edited on Thu Dec-07-06 06:51 AM by maine_raptor
if at the swearing in ceremony, Bicis Dickis, suddenly starts shorting out; you know, sparks flying, smoke pouring out of his ears, the smell of burnt insulation filling the room, and the words, "Zzzzt, testing one, two.....Mary had a little lamb........the frequency is......Resistance is futile" coming out of his speaker...er, mouth. Then he collapses into a heap of scorched transistors, melted gears, and twisted wiring.

As they sweep up the remnants, Nancy Pelosi steps forth to take her rightful place as the 44th President.

Hell, if you're going to dream, dream big!
