1. I prefer Free Speech TV over LinkTV |
|
but both carry Amy Goodman's "Democracy Now!"
if you have DishNetwork there are some darn good stations down in the 9000 range. I also enjoy much of the UCTV broadcasting. UC Santa Barbara has some wonderful speakers come through

6. I agree with your statement 100% |
|
I love FSTV and many of the presentations on UCTV. LinkTV to a lesser extent. Add in Keith Olbermann and that covers most of my TV watching.

2. I believe it is only thru Dish and Direct satellite providers. |
|
I watch both Free Speech and Link TV. They are great! Mosaic TV news from throughout the Middle East in translation in English, Democracy Now with Amy Goodman, plus all the great docs!
It beats cable by far, in my eyes...and cheaper!

5. ask your cable provider for it |
|
If enough people request it, perhaps they'll add it.
I love Link TV. Aside from the programming mentioned above, they also air some excellent documentaries.

4. I love LinkTV and Free Speech TV. |
|
Those 2 channels and c-span are about the only channels that I tune in to.
Both Link and Free Speech have in depth coverage and interviews about events in the world. Stuff that just isn't on the corporate media channels.
I can only receive these channels through satellite in my area and I don't know if cable companies in other areas provide these channels.
