He may be a republican, but you really gotta love his candor.

2. I saw him and he's a turn off everytime.
Before anyone started asking questions, he was whining about partisanship, Democrats this and republicans that...how this group will be treated blah blah blah. What a blowhard.

5. I actually thought he was funny as hell
talking about politicians waking up every morning thinking about who they could diddle poliitcally.

Talking about the how politiccs had gotten so venal

the transcript is not up on cspan yet but really refreshing to hear a Republican luagh at politics and bitching and pissing and moaning and how he just wanted to go home to the sweet bosom of his wife.

6. Yeah, he can be funny and has one of the meanest mouths
in politics. Did you hear him during the elections when he was trying to push * onto the public? He's Dick Cheney with a little more personality.

10. Yes, I saw him he is talking about bipartanship...
Edited on Thu Dec-07-06 05:26 PM by butterfly77
now but I heard some of his comments before now. He is another hateful ass. Now that it is a mess he wants us to come together. He also said that the congress doesn't really know what is going on with the public and they need to get out in the real world. He needs to keep telling this to the republicons. They need to take a tour of this country and hold meetings with the public with a mix of all parties. In different areas of the country and maybe that will wake them up... He has always been a part of the problem...

4. Funny, I remember him being quite the douchebag on "Real Time" after the 2004 Bush "victory."
All of a sudden, he's pushing for bipartisanship. Oh, now we should all just get along? Screw him and the horse he rode in on.

8. That's what I remember too. He just lost it with Bill Maher.
I was watching it, and thinking, "What the fuck is the matter with him?" Bill was equally shocked, and I don't think he shocks easily.

9. Also can't forget that asshole from the Clarence Thomas
hearings. He was the leader of the "Anita Hill is a slut" gang. He is an absolute gutter snipe.

15. He completely supported Bush's war and is now only "making nice"
It's funny how they are all coming around after

3,000 American soldiers and marines are dead,

10,000 American wounded,

600,000 Iraqi civilians dead,

$350 Billion of U.S. Treasury sapped,

A full blown civil war / genocide,

Iran is about to control Southern Iraq,

Lebanon is collapsing,

Yeah

16. I just heard a Democratic caller calling Bush all sorts of names. That was way cool!
Right after that, this republican woman called in and said that former President Carter was an embarrassment, the worse president we ever had, a pitiful joke of a president. Next, this idiot says... "Can't believe people are calling "President Bush" names. It's truly sad and I really pray for our country."

So, she can call former presidents names but we can't call her president names? :banghead:
