What is Arianna's Problem?
I'm certainly not a Hillary fan but I guess if she were nominated I'd think about it and probably vote for her. Having said that I can't help but notice that Arianna seems to be piling on in the last few days. Is there a backstory here I'm not aware of. I was expecting her outrage at this latest ISG report, not the second day of Hillary blasting. What gives?

4. Actually, both women were republicans. Maybe Arianna is pissed
that Hillary saw through the bullshit when she was still a teen while Arianna stayed with the GOP long after she had any excuse to do so.

I tend to think this is the cat fight phenomenon. Women are our own worst enemies.

Just wait until Dowd starts on her.

Sad.

5. So would you have a problem with a man criticizing Mrs. Clinton?
What would that be, a cat and dog fight?

I think I know what you mean, and it brought a smile to my face. Even if I mis-read your remark, it still brought a smile to my face! :D

3. Arianna's been doing that for a long time now.
Why? I dunno.

Perhaps there are power struggles, behind the scenes intrigues and such that we mere mortals never really hear much about.

7. I have also noticed that Arianna doesn't seem to care for Hilary.
I have mixed feeling about that. I used to be a big fan of Hilary when she was at the White House, but I cannot get over the fact that she voted for this war. It completely shattered any illusions I had about her professed compassion for the children of the world.

That being said, while I will not support her in the primary, or any other candidate that voted for the war, I would, however, definitely vote for her if she wins the nomination.

8. Who cares about a stupid woman that marries a gay man?
She should go back to Greece and stop running her mouth about American politics. She contributes nothing. I would never listen to anything she says. In fact, do the opposite of what she says.

women. Simple. They'll never admit it though.

15. I am a strong woman
and powerful enough in my own little world, yet I am not a big fan of Hillary. Got anything in that box of blanket dismissals for Hillary critics that would fit me?

20. I'm not a Hill fan either, But what else is the reason for all the hate?
Edited on Fri Dec-08-06 12:54 PM by xultar
I respect her. I can't deny that. I love the fact that she is a powerful woman. I don't like all she does but I love the fact that she can do it. I also love the fact that the right wants to tear her down @ every chance because that means they are really afraid of her. I love that too.

There are no politicians I like 100%. What I don't get is why people give their favorites a pass on the same issue they rail Hillary. I hate the double standards where she is concerned. Seems SEXIST to me. There are way more conservative connected men in the Senate and no one bashes them as much as Hill? Why the fuck is that?

27. Hate?
Someone who I once defended at every turn lost all my respect that fateful day on the Senate floor.

I don't hate her but she does not deserve my respect or support and I won't have hysterical posters on the internets dismissing those of us with legitimate grievances as brainless hate mongers sucked in to the reich-wing crap.

And you must be joking when you say wingers here do not take the heat Hillary does. Talk about selective vision!

19. I would adore a powerful woman willing to open the books on BushInc. I don't believe
Edited on Fri Dec-08-06 11:10 AM by blm
Hillary is a powerful ENOUGH woman in her own right who would do that and defy the establishment Democrats who have consistently covered up for BushInc.

I believe a Gen. Claudia Kennedy is. Or a Maxine Waters. Or a Teresa Heinz Kerry. Or a Deborah Wasserman-Schultz.

I don't read any of her columns anymore because it got to the point many were all about bashing Hillary. Makes you wonder if there's a bit of a personal issue.
