Thom Hartmann and Ed Schultz beat all other talkers in Seattle Arbitron ratings
http://www.thomhartmann.com/SeattleARB.htm

The other hosts on the Seattle AAR affiliate http://am1090seattle.com/ do well also, beating the more famous Hate-Radio hosts in most cases, but coming in behind some local favorites. Bear in mind that the Seattle affiliate is relatively low-powered, compared to the big-watt competition.

1. Imagine if 1090 had 50K watts.
Thanks for the good news!

2. Looove Thom Hartmann. Schultz is so-so
We just lost our progressive stations. I so looked forward to Stephanie Miller in the morning and a rebroadcast of Hartmann at night.
I always said that I learned something new every time I listened to Thom Hartmann.

7. I put Hartmann at (near) the top. Best for what he does.
I "need" Malloy and always listen (coming back soon, according to KPTK) but Hartmann is definitely the most informative of them all.

3. Hopefully they will be able to boost the signal...whenever I listen..
I get some San Francisco chatter crossing over 1090. But I listen anyway!

4. I get a noisy signal also, but
Edited on Thu Dec-07-06 10:35 PM by ConsAreLiars
all my radios are tuned to that station. I posted this to counter the "nobody listens" talking points that some dittoheads have been posting on DU.

(edit because , and . are too close together on the keyboard)

5. I listen every day.
I listen on my drive in to work. I listen over the internet while at work, and I listen on the drive home.
I'm addicted.

6. That's Great News
In my opinion Thom puts most of the other talking heads to shame...he's one of the most intelligent, articulate and persuasive progressive voices out there. What I especially like about him is that he proposes solutions instead of just carping about stuff...
