OK. Seniors, how do you like Bush now? Tell me. He ignored you! |
|
What a shameful display of political hubris by Bush and cowardice by the Dems. Kaine was a huge disappointment.

1. Hey! Wait just a minute here!!! |

I already hated him. I don't know how I could hate him any more than I already do.
It seems to me it's the young people that better get their act together. It's their future they have to worry about.
Kaine was just flat-out boring. He sounded like he was running for student-body president. Very disappointing.

2. I thought Tim Kaine was more effective than Bush tonight. |

Kaine is no fire-belcher, but he had a very agile, sure-footed address for Americans' consideration.
At its heart, Kaine's speech fairly dismissed claims of victory by the president and asked for the re-evaluation of Bush's policies and methods by the voters.
I give it a strong B-plus.

a very effective counter to the SOTU speech. Kaine came off as folksy and 'real' but he wasn't spouting the same old Rupuke rehash...definite points for the Dems on that one....
