How can people still have those stupid "W" stickers on their cars?
It is simply amazing that people still have the W stickers on their cars. I was behind one today and I wondered what in the hell that person must be thinking.

Does he watch TV and scream that the damn media is biased?

Is he so completely out of touch that he doesn't realize that the world and America realize that Bush is a total idiot who has screwed up yet once again in his miserably pathetic life?

Is he so angry that his worldview is constantly challenged that instead of critically analyzing his thoughts he retreats to the comfort of his delusional belief that Bush is there to protect all that is right and good in this world?

Is he a bat-shit crazy fundamentalist whose only value is that of hate toward liberals and gays, and he sees the Bible and Bush supporting his prejudices?

Is he a social antagonist waiting for someone to challenge him so he can act like a dip shit and say crazy stuff just to get a rise out of sane people?

Please tell me...who are these people and why do they refuse to acknowledge that George W. Bush is a clear failure?

see them on suv's rather than pickups, and a friend of mine is a wife of a high profile corporate lawyer & she is an advocate for workman's comp. insurance applicants & they have a W on their suv. So far, I am too embarrassed for her to ask. We met thru a mutual ladies group.

Appearing on Carlos Mencia's show on Comedy Central, Peter Boyle was asked to help Carlos interpret what bumper stickers *really* mean.

What do those stickers that support Bush really mean?

28. There are still people in this country
who are total dipsticks.

They are just stubborn and stupid at the same time.
Their minds are already made up, and facts do not confuse them, reality has no hold on them, and they will gladly follow the Bush clan, lemming-like, right over the cliff, and sing Bush's praises all the way down.

They are beyond hope, and are not even worth fretting over. Inconsequential at best, and important only to themselves.

29. Overheard some kids talking recently
They evidently had some friends who had some round magnetic disks printed with "OMG! Someone put a W sticker on my car!" They said they heard their friends were tossing them out the windows like frisbees sitting in traffic at every car that had a W sticker on it. I guess they did this during an event that attracted a large number of conservatives. If they missed they had to cruise the parking lot until they ran out of disks to throw.

Sounds like a fun game to play...

36. most of my neighbors USED to be Republicans, anyway
Few of them had Bush bumper stickers or anything, though.

There was a house down at the end of the block who had a big ol' Bush/Cheney yard sign. I wonder whether the decent but misled people who put those signs out or slapped a "W" on their cars are horribly embarrassed now. People can always pretend they didn't vote for him, but having put up a sign is kind of like having put up a sign saying "Instigating the murder of hundreds of thousands of innocent people isn't that big a deal".

43. I'm in Birmingham!
So I know what you mean. We're in Davis' congressional district, and we don't dare move out, unless it's to another state. However, we shop in the Trussville area, argh, and I'm confronted with a bazillion worn out "W" stickers every day.

That's okay, I have three bumper stickers:

1. Reelect Gore 2008
2. Bright blue dot in a really red state (square sticker)
3. "Old hippies for peace" sticker

Every now and then, I get a really dirty look. But more often than not, I've had people giving me thumbs up, or motioning to me to roll down my car window so they can tell me they like my stickers, and for me to slow down so I can look at theirs. I've also had business cards stuck in my car door asking where I got the stickers.

There is hope...

She works at the church office across the street. I suspect she fills the fundie "bush is doing God's work" totally brainwashed catagory. It is very disturbing.

On the upside she has to look at my stickers on my car ( a peace sign and NO W ) every day! :)

55. I see loads every day
I work at a state university. The students that drive the SUVs that daddy bought them have all kinds of * stickers. I even see */Cheney stickers and THOSE offend me the most. I also see them on the lawyers' cars that are parked in the special parking lot directly opposite their special law center. I have neighbors who still have the stickers. Some of them are said university students that rent apartments down the street, but others are just the neighbors. I see them on the cars at the grocery store.

My former next door neighbors (almost lost their house to foreclosure) voted for * twice, drive large SUVs, and have a framed confederate naval battle flag displayed in their family room. (they think I am crazy, in a really mentally ill kind of way)

My neighborhood is fairly eclectic, so there are all kinds.

58. I was behind a car the other day with the sicko Bumper sticker....."W The President"
So I went around and pulled in front of her so she could read my anti-Bush/Republican stickers and I have a "W..The Torture President" which is a take on her idiotic W sticker. I hope it pissed her off. Right after I pulled in front of her we were stopped by a red light. She had plenty of time to read the back of my car.:7 My head explodes when I see people who STILL support that psycho. There's NO EXCUSE for it. I just figure they're all religious RW wacko nut jobs.

59. I know two people in my town that still have them:
One is the racist, angry bully of a realtor who I used (reluctantly) when buying my house. He threatened to "beat the fuck" out of the arborist I hired as a consultant before buying the house. He still has his W sticker and now he has one of those stupid, and in his case, hypocritical Keep Christ in Christmas stickers next to it.

The other is my asshole next door neighbor who screamed at me one night for not mowing my side yard frequently enough, and this was after I had twice rescued his dog who had gotten loose from their yard.

I see a trend.

68. None in Mexico
I have not seen a single one driving around Mexico City. This fact gives me great faith in the Mexican Intellect.

74. I find them helpful.
It's good to know who they are. In the face of worldwide knowledge that this president lied about starting a war which has killed thousands of people, we need to know who still supports him.
This is the president who makes jokes in the days following Katrina (I used to go to New Orleans for the "hurricanes" yuk. yuk.) while people were dying.
This is the president who just can't be bothered unless it's the Terry Shaivo case and he wants to keep his fundie base.
This is the president who has a sniggering attitude toward our troops. Yesterday, when pressed about his use of the word "unsettling" to describe the violence in Iraq, he sneered. "It's bad. Happy now?" Then giggled.
So. I want to know who these people are who find Bush worthy of a sticker on their vehicle.
Because I want absolutely nothing to do with any one of these people.
Nothing.
