Damn! Some teenage bravado tonight!
My kid's friend and my kid were playing some xbox crap and they were exchanging phone calls and my kid's friend says, "someone in a black ski mask just broke in the house." I couldn't think of the street address, so we fly over there nightgown, robe, hair fly'n in the wind and we get to his street and call 911 as we sit outside in the truck waiting for the cops to arrive or the guy to run out so I can shoot him in the leg. Apparently this guy came through two locked doors and encountered a 6 ft. tall teenager and a 175 lb rottie. The teenager punches the guy in the mouth and reaches for his knife on the table, the dog lunges for the dude and the dude scrams with the dog on his tail. Tee hee. Scared the crap out of me for the kid. When we finally get into the house the kid has his hand on ice and by that time an adult has arrived home from a business meeting. All is well that ends well and the bitch best not come back!

a dark alley. The dog stayed in the yard. But we could hear him giving the masked bandit a feeeerocious barking fit. Yes! I bet the teef has some sore lips and teeth. And as for the teenager, we are very proud of him! Quick cool thinking! The dog didn't harm the situation much either.

5. Defending yourself isnt "taking justice into your own hands"
If they had caught him and subdued him, and then decided to "punish" him, your comment would have been warranted.

6. Most 6ft tall teenage boys LIVE for moments like that
He'll be telling that story forever. A few years from now, ask him about it, and I bet the one burglar will suddenly be three, all armed with guns and ninja swords.

7. LOL. My son came home with a thank you message. I asked if he had
anything else to say about it. My son said no. I will ask in a few years and see what he says. ;)
