1. Why does a President get to grade the SOTU?
Bush screws things up and gets to tell us how strong and wonderful things are? The SOTU is morphed into a Republican political rally. There's no objectivity in this joke of a speech. Time to have the SOTU depoliticized, make it the function an independent commission who can track things year-over-year and tell us, politics-free, if we are doing better or worse.
