So why don't Tweety CALL-IN demanding Shrub come-up-with-a-plan NOW-NOW-NOW?!!1

The quote below is from a parallel thread of a couple of days ago pointing how how Tweety has badgered Dems for months and especially Election Night and the week after, demanding that the hapless Dem guests COME UP WITH A PLAN-NOW!!!1 He repeated endlessly that ADULTS make policy, that Dems have to START being ADULTS. He said that it was cowardly of Dems to WAIT for the BAKER report, to HIDE BEHIND the BAKER report.

O.K., so why doesn't Tweety call-in, since he's been discharged from the hospital about a week and will be back to work Monday, and this issue is of the undeniably utmost urgency: Why did Shrub, not only wait for BAKER, but now is going to wait for 2 or 3 OTHER reports before coming up with a plan? Plus, Shrub is going to "cobble" a plan, whereas Unca Jim specifically told him NOT to treat his report "like a fruit salad".

Why didn't Tweety et al. demand specifics about ANYTHING from Shrub in 2000? Or while the Iraq Attack was being fast tracked? And, please, don't nobody chime in here saying Tweety was "always against the war": He might have been more Lib in his defunct columns, but DEFINITELY banged the drum once the Attack began, including performing the on-air execution of Phil DONAHUE with a lot of "YOU-LIBS" rhetoric.

So it's enough for Shrub to have created this mess WITHOUT public reasons, only with his own PRIVATE reasons, but even now he doesn't have to take any responsibility or accountability, eh, Tweety???

Yes, I know that after his recent illness, the bleeding-heart/we're-NOT-like-THEM wing of our community here is demanding that we be NOBLE and turn the other cheek yet again so that Tweety can continue to fuck us over like he has for at least eight years (two more than the year 2000).

So my thoughts turn to the week after the Dem win, when Tweety would confront every Dem he could snare and demand that the person spew a PLAN for Iraq, NOW!!!1 That, what, were the Dems going to sit back and WAIT for the BAKER circus to spit one up??? That the Dems had to ACT LIKE ADULTS now that we were in the majority, that ADULTS MAKE POLICY, don't just gripe!!!!1

Well, now that the much balleyhooed BAKER proposals are OUT, let's see how much actually gets whipped into shape by ANYBODY, including the Shrub maladministration, since, after all, it is the EXECUTIVE branch that is supposed to propose and execute foreign policy!!!1

Yes, that was our Tweety then. And guess what, when he gets back from Sick Leave, he will be THE SAME BASTARD!!!1 Because diabetes is MANAGEABLE----being Tweety is NOT!!!!1

Since he's home now, maybe he will have time to see this.
