Franken Just Sounded Like He Was Saying Good Bye |
|
Without actually saying it...getting tearful and thanking all the "brilliant" people who work on his show. I hate to think Hannity might have been right, but even a stopped clock...

But this didn't sound like a USO Tour goodbye--he's done those good-byes before.
maybe I'm reading more into it than was there....

4. I do believe the reason he moved back to Minnesota was so he could run for the Senate. |
|
in that state. He has a goal.:) Think of it this way...AAR will be saving some BIG BUCKS if Al leaves.

7. Considering they haven't been paying him, they've saved some bucks already. |

6. I had the same feeling. Also a campaign kick off - with all introductions. |
|
I'm sure Air America can find more talent - funny and unencumbered by political aspirations. Franken was good at times (mostly guests, and a few bits), but I'll never forgive him the riffs on the stolen 2004 election. Or, trusting Powell on war. So, not really misty here.

10. My impression is that he was tearful from talking about the troops |
|
I caught the last 15 minutes or so of the show. Was there another "goodbye" earlier?
