I hope they're telling the truth when they talk about UNPRECEDENTED BAD BLOOD and BITTERNESS in Washington. If our side gets ANGRY enough we will take back the house and senate this year.

1. Since Republicans can only operate with smoke and mirrors,
it does extend that if there appears to be any discontent, they can't push any of their agenda with the appearance that they are bi-partisan.

2. It would be super
if one of these "pundits" would explain why the Dems are angry. Maybe they could point out the dirty freakin' tricks the Cons pull to get their way.

3. That takes effort on our part...
An effort that seems pitifully inadequate despite Dean's 50-State Strategy. They kicked off in November and hired organizers in every state. Then I haven't heard another thing.

Every single Democrat needs to:

- be actively working to convince other like-minded people who've been politically uninvolved, to register as soon as possible.

- be actively involved in whatever state/local Democratic organizations they can find.

- immediately sign up on the DNC's website to donate whatever funds they can spare on an ongoing monthly basis (the Democracy Bonds at http://www.democrats.org/democracybonds.html).

- immediately begin researching the internet for organizations seeking to correct the easily defrauded electoral systems--and sign up to lead or participate in local actions to correct this problem BEFORE this year's general elections!

The time to start is right now (or tomorrow, Wednesday, February 1st, 2006)! If we wait, it will be too late.

Do Something, Do Anything--Do the Best You Can! Just Don't Wait!

4. yeah, the WH is using reverse psychology when they say that they love it
Edited on Tue Jan-31-06 11:30 PM by jsamuel
when Dems get angry and passionate. The WH acts like it makes them look cool and collected, but it a trick. They know we are pissed and they don't want the Dems to be able to take advantage of it.

5. He should have said more.
He talked a the divide down the aisle, he did not mention the FACT there are still 44 Democrat Senators! Jeeeezuz H., you'd think there were 20 in the room. There is deep bitterness yes, but why? The Dem response should have been, "the President is lying to you again, look at the Exxon profits, look at his radical right Judge choice smirking in the front row.."
