SEATTLE - First, it was sex. Now, it's money.

There was another bombshell Friday in the case of long time political insider Larry Corrigan. Now, he admits he embezzled money from the prosecutor's campaign.

Just days after Seattle police caught Larry Corrigan in an Internet sex sting, the former political insider made a startling confession: He admitted stealing tens of thousands of dollars from the campaign coffers of his former boss, King County Prosecutor Norm Maleng.

3. On the other hand...

If you were a corrupt Repuke politician, and you were involved in illegal sexual activities, it might be a good idea to start stealing money, for several reasons:

1) It can be part of a mental incompetence defense that gets you more time in rehab than in jail.
2) If you might go to jail anyway, may as well steal a bunch of money and "live it up" while you can.
3) If you get busted for the sex, you can roll-over on your embezzlement co-conspirators as part of a plea bargain to get you less jail time for the sexual offenses.
