Include a Peace Sign when you sign your Christmas Cards
I'm doing a small one right next to our signatures. Makes a statement, I think.

I wish I could have found peace sign stickers for the envelopes, but no dice.

1. how about a peace sign stamp?
Most craft stores should have them. That would be easier to do than stickers (I would think).

5. Yeah, I'm sorta "known" for this
This was another one of the ways we protested the war in Vietnam. We put messages on the outsides of the envelopes we mailed.

It was quite effective. I remember one that said 133,000 DEAD IN VIETNAM and it was all black with a shadow of a solider. Powerful, and quite large too - like 2" X 4" I would guess.

You can print some out you know and glue them to the outsides of the envelopes if you don't wish to draw one on the envelope itself. I saw peace sign stickers for was at cafepress I thought about 2 weeks ago.

6. Print up your own peace sign stickers
P.S. -- I make sure to write "Happy Holidays" on all my cards!

7. I'm making peace sign earrings.
I make jewelry and, after the Colorado peace wreath fiasco, I ordered 30 sterling silver peace sign charms to make earrings and necklaces. I'm going to give some as gifts and sell some to my store accounts. They are turning out really nice. If I can figure out how to photgraph and post them, I might put some in the DU marketplace forum.

I'd love to see people starting to wear the peace sign again as jewelry or patches on jackets like everyone was wearing in the sixties. That's become a new mission of mine-to make "peace" mainstream again.

8. My cards have a dove on them.
I think it's more attractive than a peace sign.

10. Peace Sign Stickers...
I found some peace sign stickers in the
Northern Sun catalog, but you may be able to find them online:

Item # 5084
http://www.northernsun.com

They are 1" in diameter

Thanks for the great idea! :hi:
