My Values (Why I am a Liberal)
I look around this world and I see pain.
I see darkness, I see evil.

I see greed, I see disloyalty.
I see hate, I see bloodshed.

I see people who like to put their claws
into everything and everywhere and cause
death and mayhem to whatever they touch.

Yet within this shroud of darkness.
Within this maelstrom of despair
I see shafts of light shining through.

Peace. Love and Prosperity.
Truth, Intelligence and Care.
Ideals of welfare, of sharing and helping.

Beings of Lights on this earth
are reaching out into the darkness, touching the lost souls
and the souls who are in pain.
Healing with showers of revitalizing waters.

Why am I a Liberal?

I am a person who cares. I have a warm heart, I care about this world and what goes on in it. I care about Nature and I care about the people.
I want to see everyone prosper, to have good things in life and to not worry about the next bad thing. To be secure in their own spaces and to have the right to say and speak what they think. I want for all people to look at each other and realize that we are all cosmically linked to each other, that our outer appearance is nothing but a fleeting shadow.
Every path leads to the Divine, there is no one way. Every road leads to somewhere and each one of us is touched by the Divine. (should you believe in one, I am not discounting atheists I am just saying what is popping into my head at the moment so please forgive me)

The energies of Acceptance and Love are much more easier to deal with than Negativity. People who waste their time hating other people our groups are only wasting their own energies, so why hate? People should learn about each other. Learn!!! Knowledge makes you much more powerful.

Our children are important, their education is important so why spend money and resources on useless wars, turf wars at that, when we should use those monies and resources educating our next generation. Our next generation that could help this planet of ours?

Close mindedness is blindness. I believe in broadening our horizons, reaching out beyond our bubble, and taking diplomatic measures.

There is so much I want to say but I can't, this would be a rather long post.

I know it seems cryptic but communication is very difficult for me, like I said I am not a very succint writer.

4. If communication is difficult for you,
I would love being blessed with your gift. You are a liberal, loving, caring person. You communicated beautifully, and I thank you for your post. Other people are important, they count! It doesn't matter if they are rich or poor, young or old, beautiful or plain. I want to reach out to my fellow souls, and want each of them to have a life with enough in the way of material wealth in it to survive with dignity.

I do not want more than what I need to survive. I would rather have less, in order that others may survive. When I have shelter, and clothing, and food, and water, it makes no difference to me if the shelter is merely mine, warm and dry, or a palace. If I have food which sustains me, it can be beans and rice, or steak, and I prefer not to eat meat. If I am clothed adequately, it doesn't matter if it's in cotton or silk. I need water to drink, and to bathe, but have no need for a swimming pool.

I think you did well with your post. Don't sell yourself short.

5. Well thank you so much...
I feel pretty much the same.

I never grew up with the "best" clothes, the "best" toys, etc. I learned from a very young age that material things are not important. They may be something in this world, but in the beyond it doesn't matter one iota if you were a king, a wealthy man or a powerful politician, it is your actions that will count.
