I still LOVE you, Cynthia McKinney!
I heard that she is introducing a bill to oust Bush.

I know the DLC hates her, but I don't.

God Bless!

1. She introduced it like an hour before the end of Congress. And she's now gone.
So it was just an empty gesture.

:hi:

Edited to add: But if she was serious about the impeachment papers, she should have introduced them somewhat sooner instead of throwing them in the room as she was walking out the door.

BTW, since the Congress has ended, the bill she just introduced is now dead.

11. Her craziness bothers me more than her leftism
Edited on Sun Dec-10-06 11:41 AM by brentspeak
She's always had a talent for attracting unfavorable publicity, wording things outrageously, being impolitic (as a politician, whatever one's politics, you can ill-afford to be impolitic), and therefore, not being an effective community advocate and legislator. Hillary might have made a personal visit or two in your town; people tend to get star-struck when they meet someone famous. That's the only possible explanation (in my opinion) as to why a politician as vacuous (currently, at least) as Hillary Clinton could be so well-liked.

14. Actually, she spends more time with wealthy pro choicers
(republicans and democrats) then she does with the poverty community. She has done nothing for inner city Newburgh.

The inner city loves her husband; thus, they love her.

18. Do you believe everything the press writes?
Can you imagine that possibly they set Cynthia up for the outrageous reports? Oh that's right, this is America that is not possible.

24. Yea...the Press would never make Cynthia
look bad, would they? I appreciate her fearlessness...she looked into issues that no one else would touch...ie 9/11.

I'd like to see more in Congress just like her...people willing to speak the Truth to an administration that does nothing but LIE...and gee the Press treats them like angels.

19. remember how Howard Dean suddenly became "crazy"? Do you stop to wonder if someone isn't yanking
your chain to make these people look bad because they are afraid of them?

Cynthia McKinney has been one of the bravest members of the house, if not the bravest. Before the Republicans engineered her ouster, she had the audacity to ask Rumsfeld about wargames on 9/11. He sidestepped it. When she got back in congress after her ouster, she asked him again and for the relevant documents. He said he forgot--just like he forgot the chain of command for torture when he was testifying about Abu Ghraib.

22. The "liberal media" has a talent for bestowing unfavorable publicity
on anyone who's not liked by the corporate-political establishment.

Capitol Hill Police Officers Speak Out!

McKinney-Capitol Police incident part of systemic racism of Capitol Police force says African American officers

Capitol Hill is ‘Last Plantation’ according to officers

Atlanta, GA – Cynthia McKinney was deliberately targeted by white U.S. Capitol Police Officers, part of the systemic racism of the U.S. Capitol Police Force say four African American Capitol Officers. The startling revelation, coming a week before her primary run-off against Hank Johnson, came in a video released by Ian Inaba, director of the Sundance award winning American Blackout (which will open early in an exclusive engagement this Friday in Atlanta).

She shouldn't expect to have many friends within the Democratic party when she makes unfounded accusations that our presidential nominees are racist.

29. Forget Bush/Cheney...
... they'll be gone by the time McKinney is ready to run for her seat again. What we really need to do is introduce a bill to impeach the Repug judges on the Supreme Court (Alito, Roberts, Scalia and Thomas). If we don't they'll still be on the court twenty years from now. Now, *that's* a real danger to this country... far greater than Bush

but if she intends to swak ole bushie with a cell-phone, I want to send her the first portable I ever used. It wieghed in at mere 2.5 pounds, called the Motorola 8,000 X, it quickly became known as "the brick" on the streets.

But I began to love her after watching the Dutch video where, in part, she talks about her research into the Carlyle Group.
