We don't understand the culture. If you abuse an Iraqi man in front of his wife |
|
Edited on Sun Dec-10-06 12:34 PM by billbuckhead
"We don't understand the culture. If you abuse an Iraqi man in front of his wife, you make an enemy for life". said Republican Congressman Christopher Shays on CNN's late edition.
The problem isn't understanding Iraqi culture, it's understanding basic human rights.
As of late there have been very disturbing rape torture videos allegedly by US troops against Iraqis circulating on the internet. The public hasn't seen the worst pictures from Abu Ghraid and this guy Congresswarcriminal Shays is babbling about not "understanding the culture".

2. Considering the brown shirt brigade believes raping a women's son in front of her |
|
is a valid interrogation technique; it is clear they have no understanding of Human anything. (They are sub human mouth breathing scum).

3. If you kill a man, his father, brother, and sons will seek revenge in kind |
|
not in a lawsuit. If you rape his wife or mother or sister or daughter, he will seek revenge in blood, not in the courts. What about this does the US government not get. For every death or act of torture or rape or humiliation over there, we create generations of enemies.

4. Bingo that is exactly what the death cult wants. They want a "Perpetual War" |
|
that way they can continue to loot and satisfy their homo-erotic sadistic ways.

15. that's like Rush Limbaugh's frat boy defense of Abu Ghraib torture. Difference is within family |
|
and an outsider.
Just as you would be upset if a cop beat up your dad even if dad beats you at home.

8. see, that's because in most other cultures, |
|
you can abuse a man no matter the context and he'll love you for it.

that the reaction to abusing another human being depends on culture and context.

14. Machiavelli knew this. He said don't mess with a man's women or property without good excuse |
|
The Bushies are messing with both in Iraq, and the Iraqis don't believe the excuses.
