At the rate this S.O.B. is going, what's your best guess? I'm beginning to suspect he's going to leave the entire mess, including the troops, there for the next administration and live out his days blaming them for the failure.
Remember this is a PREDICTION, not what we want.

I think you're right that he's going to leave things for someone else to fix. After the new president is sworn in, it depends on who the president is. If it's delusional McCain, the numbers will go up.

will be needed to maintain the puppet government. The Iraqis are not buying it; they will never buy it until we have crushed them under our boot heel.
It's all about control of the oil (so that we may defend ourselves from the whims of OPEC) and establishing our military in the volatile Middle East.
That is, was & shall be the game plan.
