There's no room for more than 1 anti-Hillary. And Obama seems to be it.

Who do you prefer of these two?

1. Neither. I am already sick to death of both of them and it's still
2 years to go.

I'm holding out for Gore and Clark. Used to be Gore/Obama for me and I still like Obama. But I've already been beat over the head with him and Hillary so much that I am beginning to hate them despite the reasons I used to like them.

This is going to be one long election season.

Oh brother.

10. Unless my figures are wrong, we won't have an election
until Nov. 2008. That would mean we will hear this blather all of 2007 and most of 2008. Ugh

This is way too soon to annoint anyone.

3. The election is two years away!
The "media" is focusing on these two at the moment cause they provide the most entertainment value. A LOT can and will happen between now and 2008. Meanwhile, what are they supposed to talk about? Bush's fuck-ups? The real estate crash? The price of gas? The dead troops? Child molesting Repuke congressmen? Hell no ... meanwhile let Al Gore or Wes Clark or Howard Dean or who-knows-who make a move in the direction of running and the other two will get dropped like yesterdays news.

11. Exactly, media Should have much more to talk about than
what Dem will win in 08, same with repub. It is so much cheaper, no real investigative reporting as it cost dollars. Sittin' and talkin' the presidential bs is a waste of air time.

4. Anyone have those polls from 2003 showing Lieberman to be the frontrunner?
1. Neither of those two said they are running for sure
2. Democratic frontrunners rarely become the nominee.

5. Since Obama is only one letter different from Osama
And the name Hillary has been made a pejorative for years now,

I guess, if the powers that be choose to run
either of them,

Looks like another repuke administration come 2008

How sad

When Gore's a shoo-in who doesn't want to run

When will they ever learn?
Will they ever learn?

8. How do you say Gore is a shoo-in?
Name one poll that has Gore leading the primary.

13. I read this same post in another thread. Barack Obama.
Nice name. It isn't spelled Bush.

7. Well, the way things look like they are going,
You can either have a black president or a female president. Personally, I don't like either, as the media and it seems everyone is too focused on them. Like others, Gore/Clark still sounds the best.

9. Kind of like Dean sucked up all the media attention in '03/04.
Edited on Sun Dec-10-06 06:19 PM by Radical Activist
At least for about 6 months he did. As we saw, the media doesn't always pick the winner.

My choice is Barack, who is getting media coverage for a good reason. He impresses people.

12. Presidential talk = Ratings
No matter how far out the election is people like to talk about who the next President will be. And I don't blame them considering who the current President is. But there will be plenty of stuff that will happen once the new congress is sworn in and hopefully the media will talk about that.

15. Do people think Obama is ready for primetime?
Hillary has the qualifications and the track record (even before becoming a Senator; in the WH). But Obama has been in office for two years. By the time 2008 rolls around, it will be four. I'm just surprised Obama's not paying his dues and concentrating on the job he was elected too before running. At least Hillary completed one term before running for President. 2012 might be ideal for him; even 2016- he's young enough.
