Augusto Pinochet has escaped justice - let's make sure George W. Bush does not

Both overthrew the democratic process. Both sanctioned the torture of innocent people. Both have used the military - our own beloved troops - as their personal toys.

Pinochet died without ever facing the Hague, let alone a court in Chile, over his human rights violations. We must make sure that Bush is held to account for his actions. That means impeachment, for starters, followed by a trial by a jury of his peers - We, the People.

Let's work the problem, people. And let the FReepers howl when they read this.

If you still want to get Pinochet, then the next best thing you can aim for is Kissinger. Have him extradited to Spain or Chile.
