Taking a break
Every once in a while I believe we all need to take a break. My time has come. I need more rest, less stress and just need to close my ears to the world for a while. If I didn't "feel" so much of the pain of people, the break wouldn't be necessary. I guess if I didn't feel the pain, I wouldn't be a regular member of DU, though.

Not sure how long of a break I need, will know when the time is for my return. I took one before and it didn't last long. Will return rejuvenated and ready to work hard on a solution to all the worlds problems, even for those having difficult times here at DU.

Please all stay safe, continue to work hard and don't give up hope. Someday we will have a grand celebration. Also, don't forget to take your words outside of DU, to your friends, family, newspapers and to your legislature. Set aside time to read, post but do not forget our words are nothing without their spread. In other words, don't forget to take it past the choir.

Wish me luck in dealing with some things I need to deal with and please be kind to smokers, we are people too.

Will be back soon

1. Have a good one and a nice holiday too
if you aren't back before then. We have some hope and reason to celebrate this coming year but we are still going to have to keep after the congress critters!

Peace,
NiteOwl

2. It does get tiring and stressful after awhile but
I have such a survivalist mindset that it is very difficult for me to not keep in touch with the events that are going on around me are. However, it does give concrete evidence to the clique that "Ignorance is Bliss."

3. It's as good a time as any, I suppose ...
It's established:
Hillary and Obama have already been coronated as our candidates for 08, and in that order.
Mr Kim committed suicide thru ignorance.
Cynthia has achieved sainthood.

All other things new and exciting are now to be found in the lounge.

Have a wonderful well-earned rest. Sometimes it's a real blessing..... Seriously.

...O...
