4. They're under the mistaken assumption....

that people actually care to see them. Of course that fits right in with the Bush family egocentricity. They believe that everyone in the world longs to see them, be with them, be liked by them, BE LIKE THEM. Their enormous egos wouldn't allow the truth to seep in: that most people in the world revile them and would rather they stayed home. It's all about them, sadly. And the world continues to pay the price for the Bush family ego.
