Yippee! Dallas, Tx gets him! (if not Paraguay): Chimpy's retirement
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/front/4391487.html

The article is about the Chimp's 1/2- billion dollar wax-n-shine to his presidential 'legacy'. But the bit I thought interesting is in bold below: if he doesn't get chased out of America, it looks like the mendacious monkey will spend his twilight years in Dallas, reminiscing about the sweet days of shock-n-awe when Jesus, his senior adviser, told him to kick some Aye-rab ass...

DUers in Dallas: so sorry! Perhaps you've found a nice place to walk your dogs- sans pooper-scooper.

The president's library site-selection committee, which has been working entirely in private, could choose a winner among the three finalists as early as next month.

SMU, Laura Bush's alma mater, has been widely considered the frontrunner since the first lady told the Houston Chronicle in a 2005 interview that the school is her sentimental favorite.

The president's wife, who sits on the SMU board, also indicated the Bushes are likely to re-establish a home in the Dallas area, where they lived before moving to Austin in 1995 when he became governor.

Giving the school another edge, White House counsel Harriet Miers, another SMU graduate, is among the close friends and advisers of the president who have been said to be participants in the decision.

17. Good one! Lock him up !
There most likely will be many there in Huntsville who would love to settle a score with the "decider" of the fate of some of their fellow inmates.

30. Put him in the Ellis Unit.
He can make friends with the "building tenders."

I bet those BT's would love to show him their collections of shivs and shaved brushes.

8. Aw NUTS. Guess I'll have to move then.
Maybe he'll buy a house in South Dallas (yeah right). I dread the thought of that monkey living within a zillion miles of me let alone in the same dang city. Anyway he's going to need extra security and a lot of land.

Make that three:

Dealey Plaza.
The Bush Lieberry.
A war criminal moving to Dallas.

I love my city, but this is too much.

be honest, dallas will embrace this asswipe as their own. which is disgusting. you have to be born in Texas to call yourself a Texan.

ie: I'm referring to bush claiming he is a Texan :)

14. I would probably say the North Dallas, Highland Park crowd
will. But Dallas did well in voting Democratic in many local races. Actually, I think he would be welcome in any affluent, fundy type of area.

19. I nominate...
PANCAKE, TEXAS!

Pancake is at the intersection of Farm roads 2955 and 217, thirteen miles northwest of Gatesville in northern Coryell County. A post office opened there in 1884 with John R. Pancake as postmaster. It was discontinued in 1886, and mail for the community was sent to Jonesboro. In 1894 the community was granted another post office, which was called Bush. Two years later the town reported having a general store, a flour mill and gin, and 200 residents. The name of the post office was changed back to Pancake in 1901. This office was discontinued in 1908, and community mail was again sent to Jonesboro. The population of Pancake was reported as twenty-five from the 1930s through the 1960s, after which no further estimates were available.

Full disclosure:I had a roomate back in my Dallas stewardess days who was from Pancake.

21. I nominate the HAGUE
since hopefully he'll have plenty of time to READ while waiting to be sentenced..

What I'd love to see is many places REFUSING to allow him to LIVE THERE, as he is a Permanent RISK to any city that welcomes him. A guy that a billion muslims want a PIECE OF?

I don't want to be anywhere NEAR that shitburger in case someone lobs something at the city, and takes out the whole city to get to him, much like he did to Saddam..

He's going to move to Paraguay and complain about how because of terrorists he's got to be protected by the whole fucking military system of the USA, while our last REAL President walks around Harlem getting hugs with a couple of SS guys nearby.

Yeah, PROTECT this fucking BRAIN TRUST at all costs, in case he utters a coherent sentence at some point in the future :)

24. Bu$h's Dallas home will most likely be on Euclid Ave in Highland Park.
My real estate buddies in H/P indicate that Bu$h paid about $10-million for a vacant lot where the recently razed house of the Romanos' (Macaroni Grill, etc) stood. The Romanos were the across-the-street neighbors of Halliburton CEO Dick Cheney, when he lived on Euclid.

All of this is eight blocks from my former digs in Dallas. Old-time DUers will remember that my beloved and late, great Sirius was trained to poop in Cheney's yard. A poop in Cheney's yard got him a Bil-Jac liver treat. By the time the SS showed up after the 11/2000 Florida fiasco, Cheney's yard was Sirius' preferred poop patch.

Sweet Sirius (died 8/25/2005)

$10 mill for a vacant yard? How large a yard is that? Big enough to build a crodile-infested moat around?

28. What they probably meant to say was Highland Park...
Cuz there is no way in hell that chimp and pickles will be well rec'd in Dallas.

For non-locals, HP is where chimp originally lived prior to becoming TX gov. It was/is where he and his fellow gazzilionaires live. It's smack dab in the middle of Dallas/Dallas County but isn't really "Dallas". Right up next to it is SMU..so chimpass will pretty much be able to look out his window and see the damn library. Or at the very least walk there.
Keep in mind it is Dallas County that in 2004 elected it's first Hispanic lesbian for sheriff and then in 2006, the voters FIRED all of the repuke judges and overwhelmingly elected all Dem judges. The reasoning given by one of the local repuke officials the next day "It was because of President Bush". I don't look for THAT official to be along side chimp anytime soon.
Them saying "Dallas" just sounds good/recognizable, cuz if they said Highland Park, people would be going "where the hell is Highland Park, Texas"?
Guess the village gets it's idiot back..finally.

36. The Metropex is an interesting patchwork of municipalities.
One might even call it a "crazy quilt." It's made up of different cities & towns, each with its own socioeconomic mix. And its own liquor laws!

Down here in Houston, that "incorporating" thing was too hard. So the Houston sprawl just kept sprawling.
