I don't get it either, for the same reasons, but I do recognize their lame attempt at humor, social satire, or something like that.

My guess is that these people are tired of the homeless and charities asking them to bother their beautiful little minds and fork over some cash. Thus they come up with this so-called humor, which includes broad brush attacks, and outright lies about charities.
