So many say that Kucinich speaks their mind so closely, however Gore is their man. In the event that Gore were to enter the race in 2008 and make waves, I feel that this ticket could certainly make some headway.
Thoughts?

From Lieberman to Kucinich...that'd be quite a jump for Gore.

It's certainly a dream ticket that I don't feel is too out of the ordinary.

I want a ticket that could win.
I love both Gore and Kucinich, but I don't think it would work with most people. Sorry.

No one is going to pick Dennis for their VP. OTH, his running gets important issues out front. And honestly, I believe, that why Dennis is running. He's enough of a realist to recognize that he's not going to get the nomination or be picked for VP.

10. hmm... I wonder if this is what Kucinich really has in mind |
|
Because he's a cool guy but not a frontrunner, at least not yet. Though he is one of the very few currently elected Dems to make it crystal clear that this war was and still is a horrible idea.
Then again, he might be able to overtake Gore for that very reason, since Gore already supposedly had a chance.

Throw all that bullshit about electability to the gutter where it belongs. We could run with Cheney as VP and they would denounce him as a communist. It doesn't matter.
Best of all, it provides assassination protection. No rightwingnut would want president Kucinich instead of Gore.

29. Totally Pointless Discussion. |
|
1. It's over a year until the 2008 campaign gets going. At best it's a year.
2. Al Gore isn't running, yet.
3. All these 2008 threads are lame, pointless, and a waste of energy which could be put to better use, for instance lobbying our new Congress about what may prove to be the most important Congress in our nation's history.
4. Today's perceived 2008 candidates are tomorrow's dead meat.
5. The media is trumpeting this shit--get this straight, that's all it is. Keeping the country in permanent campaign mode sells more beer, luxury SUVs, Xmas gifts, etc. Don't play into their hands.
