Slannity was on last night with some soldiers.... |
|
and it seemed to be planned, and the soldiers were handpicked. The soldiers were in Mosul and one talked about how he had just delivered some school supplies and how he was protected by the Iraqi soldiers,.Slannity seemed to have picked these few soldiers to try to build up bush's push to stay the course...He made sure that the soldiers he spoke to said how they were well informed and knew what we were saying over here and how happy they were to be there,.
MY question is: Is mosul a hot spot in Iraq right now, If soldiers are stationed in certain parts of Iraq wouldn't they think that things are going good because of the daily indocrination to boost moral, couldn't they be not seeing or experiencing what other soldiers are experiencing? I also want to know why slannity or anyone who is for the war,are trying to convince those who are not, to stay the course, they seem to think that because they ask the soldiers if they should stay or not, then all will fall behind Bush and agree, if their reasoning is a reason to stay.
If the soldiers were to say they want to leave it would not be reported, and if they did they would be reprimanded ... The soldiers follow orders and are on a mission and If they want to stay or leave they have no choice in the matter...What makes me so angry about Slannity is that he and the rest of the warmongers on the right, are really not concerned about the people or the soldiers. Their main objective is to protect Bush, make him look good (which can't be done), and leave saying that the United States have won or have been victorious. From what I can see its all about Bush...

...was the soldier an officer, NCO or enlisted? Trust me, this was a corporate dog and pony show.

5. I don't know for sure but... |
|
I noticed that he was black, and another older soldier(also black) seemed to be doing all or most of the talking. This seemed to me as though they were trying to prove some point in more ways than one...

6. No disrespect intended to the interviewees, but |
|
I got the feeling they were National Guardsman, not enlisted combat Army.

I've convinced myself that Hannutty isn't even worthy of my hate, he does something to bring me to a boil.
The cynical manipulation of his brain-dead listeners and the blatant use of US troops to increase his ratings is beyond contempt.

10. Did not watch this particular one |
|
but woudl not surprsie me if the troops were chosen were given specific orders and were PR officers, aka public relations officers.
Some of the things described strike me a classic for that, and ALL units have them
