Talkin' back to the TeeVee . . .

I wish I were in the audience of Lou Dobbs last Sunday. He held a “town hall” about the war on the middle class and had various spokespeople on stage. Among them was a skinny white haired guy from some mega corp, looked a bit like Mr. Burns of the Simpsons. So this guy says the American worker will earn more as their productivity increases and they become worth more. Lou jumped in and pointed out that productivity has increased every year for the last six year and wages have stagnated or gone down. Mr. Burns said that these things are just cyclical ya’ know.

Now, I don’t generally talk back to the television but this time I just lost it.

I’m pacing back and forth and pointing at Mr. Burns and yelling, “What did you produce last year? What did you assemble, build, pack and ship or install in someone’s home to make their life better? WHAT!!?!?!? Not a goddamn thing! You sat on your bony ass and collected 500 times the money your average employee made and did not a damn thing to improve the economy. Your company would have done just as well if you’d just stay home or maybe go to Bermuda to visit the “home office” in that PO box. You’re a lying sack of shit and a blight on the world!! A waste of oxygen!!”

Scared hell out of the dogs. All that yellin’ and jumpin’ up and down. Made me feel better tho . . .

3. Free Market Globalism.... Total BS....

THey even have the middle class speaking of how great globalism is.
