Interesting thought: Barack Hussein Obama as president |
|
Not sure of spelling, but, can you imagine how the rest of the world would view the U.S. electing a president with that name? We could get some of our honor back by showing how international we are. Not isolationist and prejudice like bush has lead the world to believe.
Don't get me wrong, this was not meant to be an Obama piece. The tv was just now discussing his name and that thought occurred to me.

1. I think Obama would be a bangup Vice Presidential Candidate |
|
He's a good speaker with a solid message - but he's a little young and pretty concillatory. Bryant Check it out --> http://politicalcomment.blogspot.com

6. I'm sure they said the same thing about JFK |
|
Not that I think Obama is the next JFK, but I'm always willing to entertain the possibility that he is.

2. Expect to hear that name, especially his middle name, all over the place |
|
and remember what a racist, anti-muslim society we are. Sad, because I think he could be one of the greatest presidents ever, and heal a lot of our nation's wounds.

9. Actually I don't know that much about Barack |
|
In fact, what little I know of him it seems he is too young and inexperienced. No doubt he has speaking qualities and a nice guy but feel there is way too much hype at the moment, space fillers for the media.
The name was my point,Hussein (arabic), Obama (African) and Barack (?)? Worldly type name, ha. Covers a lot of bases.

8. That name is just awfully unfortunate ... |
|
for a politician seeking higher office in the USA in the 21st Century.
Personally, it doesn't bother me. Hell, I LIKE THE GUY!!! But you KNOW the Pukes and the Swiftie types will make hay with it. And the Amurkan Peeple aren't exactly smart enough not to fall for it (just judging from the past two elections ...).
Awfully unfortunate.
