How about if we all get together and buy the 100,000th member a yacht? Okay, how about a Lexus? All right, will anyone settle for a card signed by all of the rest of us 99,999?

Any other suggestions?

2. There are only about 5000 - 7000 people actively posting during any week.

Skinner or someone can correct me, but while 99,000 or so registrations may have been submitted, I don't think that there are 99,000 currently active members. So even if its technically to correct that there 99,000 "members" (if you assume that once you're a member you are always a member), its a bit misleading to suggest that there are that many people who would identify themselves as du members at present.

on edit: I have no problem with celebrating the 10,000th user registration.

9. That number includes all who've been tombstoned as well.....so it doesn't represent....
...the number of members here.

10. Okay, party-poopers. I'll celebrate alone. My only request is that
Skinner join me in hoisting a toast to the 100,000 who were or are.

And Skinner, my personal, heartfelt congratulations to you.
